Profile
Georgia holds a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy and a Higher Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. She has wide-ranging experience in a variety of issues including addiction, anxiety, abuse, depression, grief, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and trauma.
She aims to meet the client where they are at in their personal process and facilitate healing through the presence of a consistent, supportive, and positive therapeutic relationship. Georgia views each client as unique and approaches their work similarly.
Georgia has also spent a number of years working directly with children and families and began her career working primarily in the education and childcare sector. She has a personal interest in Attachment Theory and Object Relations Theory, and thoroughly enjoys meeting and working with each of her clients on both a short-term and long-term basis.
“I believe that a supportive, nurturing therapeutic relationship can lead to endless opportunity for the development of self-awareness, healing, and growth for an individual. I aim to provide a non-judgemental and safe space where clients feel free to openly explore their emotions and thoughts. I aim to build a trusting and connected relationship in which the client feels safe, seen, and listened to throughout their therapeutic journey, with the goal of uncovering their potential, improved wellbeing, and a fuller sense of peace of mind and long-term happiness”.
